Majestic View Nature Center: Arvada’s environmental education center is called the Majestic View Nature Center. Numerous group and educational programs are available at this 3,000 square foot nature center to get kids interested in and involved in the outdoors. The Majestic View Community Park, which covers more than 80 acres, is connected to the facility. A lake, wetlands, demonstration garden, prairie grasslands, interpretive trails, and a variety of wildlife species are also present in the park. Whether going for a walk, enrolling in one of their many educational classes, or learning about local wildlife, visiting the Majestic View Nature Center is always a good time.

Arvada Skatepark: One of the biggest skateparks in the nation, Arvada Skatepark has played host to numerous important skating competitions. The vast 40,000-square-foot skating surface of the park was created and constructed by the Florida-based skate park design and construction company Team Pain. The park’s other elements and infrastructure were finished by a local landscaping business, Urban Farmer, making it one of the top skating attractions in the state. A large bowl, a medium bowl, benches, ledges, rails, and step-ups are some of the sculpted features in the skate park. Another feature is the “eggshell.” A beginners’ area, street obstacles, plaza sections, and much more are also included. The skate park not only amuses skaters of all skill levels, but it also amuses onlookers. Five years later, in June 2012, the Arvada Skatepark finally.

Indian Tree Golf Club: The legendary “Indian tree,” a hackberry tree planted on a nearby hill, is the inspiration for the name of the Indian Tree Golf Club, where you can spend the day and play a round of golf. The course, which has Kentucky Bluegrass fairways and Penncross Bentgrass greens on rolling terrains, exudes the spirit and mystic atmosphere of this lone tree. The Indian Tree Golf Club first opened its doors in 1969 and has since undergone a number of upgrades. It has an 18-hole par-70 course that is 7,000 yards long with a slope of 129 and a par-3 course that is 940 yards long. Van Bibber Open Space Park: Take a breather and drive about three miles west of downtown Arvada to the Van Bibber Open Space Park. This place is a 164-acre urban getaway that provides home and a migration stopover for wildlife. You can see the wetlands of Van Bibber Creek from an observation deck. The creek gets its name from Isaac Van Bibber, who had a farm near the creek in 1859. There are 5.2 miles of accessible trails that wind through wide open meadows, with views of the mountains, including a 1.5-mile handicap-accessible paved path running the length of the park.
